Emotional Freedom Technique – EFT

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), or “tapping”, is an acupressure tapping technique that we administer and teach at the Acupuncture Center. It is a needle free version of acupuncture. Engineer Gary Craig developed EFT, inspired by the work of Dr. Roger Callahan. EFT is easy to learn and flexible enough to be used by anyone.

EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues. EFT can be used for conditions such as:

  • Pain
  • Phobias
  • Addiction
  • Emotional Stress
  • and much more!

Lasting results are often achieved quickly. Some issues take only one or two sessions, others need regular tapping. EFT often works when nothing else will.

How It Works

Thousands of years ago the Chinese discovered that a network of energy pathways, called meridians, exists in our bodies. These pathways are accessible through acupuncture points at the surface of the body.

Acupuncture uses needles to rebalance the body by releasing stuck energy in the meridians. EFT uses tapping on these same points, while focusing the attention on the issue or problem (pain, fatigue, stress, sleep issues, hurt, fear/phobias, anger, anxiety, etc). The results are remarkable.
